Children love this cute story by Erica S. Perl about a goat who visits the home of the three bears!
In this packet you will find two comprehension tests. One has ten questions and is composed of true/false and multiple choice questions (some have more than one answer). The other test consists of eight questions requiring a written response. There is also a story sequencing worksheet as well as a beginning, middle, and end worksheet. One worksheet asks the students to write a letter to their favorite character in the book. The spelling rule of dropping the y and adding ied to words ending in a consonant y is also presented on a worksheet.
I have also included both a Double Bubble Map and a Venn Diagram to use if you want to compare this story to a Goldilocks and the Three Bears story. Then there are three written questions that follow this activity. The students must tell something that was the same about the stories and something that was different about the stories. After that, the students can write an opinion piece on whether their friends should read Goatilocks and the Three Bears or Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
