Description

Wait! What? God Made Dinosaurs?

There are a lot of different theories about dinosaurs, when they lived, and how they died. We won’t get into that this week. Paleontology and the modern study of dinosaurs started in the early 1800’s. As far as science goes, that is a really young field of science. Before the 1800’s they were typically called dragons, and still are called dragons in many parts of the world. The truth is that there is a lot we are still learning in this field of science.

In this mini theme we will stick to the few things that we know for sure.

We know for sure that dinosaurs existed. We have more than enough fossil proof to support the existence of dinosaurs.

We know for sure God created dinosaurs, because we believe that God created everything.

We know that every ancient culture in the world has some kind of dinosaur story. These stories call them giant beasts, behemoths, dragons, etc…even the Bible mentions the behemoth!

As we learn more about these ancient and magnificent creatures we will continue to update out teaching, but for now it is enough to know that…God made everything, even dinosaurs!

This Bible Add-on coordinates perfectly with our D is for Dinosaur Themed Unit.

Edlah carries a full 36 weeks of preschool curriculum. These Bible Add-ons are intended to be an extension of those lessons, adding a coordinating Bible story or Bible truth to your week.

These are NOT intended to be used as a standalone curriculum. To see the rest of the matching preschool curriculum, visit us at edlah.com. However, they may work as a one day Sunday School or Children's Church lesson for early childhood.

Bible Add-Ons include:

- a Bible story or Biblical topic

- a craft (sometimes several)

- a snack idea

- a center idea

- a memory verse

- printable resources and/or activities, and more

All resources now come in both Full Color as well as Black & White. Print whichever fits your needs best.

We recommend that you read the lesson on Monday and then space out the other activities as you have time during the week. We recommend reviewing the memory verse daily.

We use a variety of different versions of the Bible in these add-on lessons. If you have a preference it should be easy for you to adapt the lesson using your preferred version. Bible memory posters and tracing sheets are made in both KJV and one other version. The second version will be specifically chosen because it is an easy version for a preschooler to memorize. The second version may change from lesson to lesson. In this Bible Add-On the second version is NIV.

*We do not have the ability to change the versions offered.

We hope that you love the Bible Add-Ons! We would love to see pictures of your projects and crafts! Visit us on Facebook and Instagram to share images with the edlah community. Don’t forget to use #edlah
