This chart allows students to study twelve well known Greek and Roman gods from mythology. I typically print this as a two-sided/front and back worksheet for students.
My students use this as a reference when reading myths such as "Origin of the Seasons," "King Midas and the Golden Touch," "Hercules," and "Orpheus: The Great Musician." It also leads to a great discussion of which gods they heard of before and where their prior knowledge came from.
Students will need access to the answers.
IDEAS: 1) You could have them search using the internet. 2) Take the answer key and cut it into strips. Allow them to match the strip and fill in the info they are missing (I'd cut off the picture ideas and let them come up with their own pictures). 3) Go over the answers together as a class.
