I created these “Gold Card Reports” for my classroom discipline policy. Throughout each day, my students can receive gold cards (laminated construction paper strips) for positive behaviors. Likewise they can lose gold cards for negative behaviors. On Friday they count their gold cards and fill out the number on this report. The student with the most gold cards gets to go to Free Centers first. I then fill out the details on the card concerning their overall behavior, but you could have your students do it themselves if you’d like. I have really enjoyed incorporating this new discipline policy in my classroom and my students love counting their cards, competing for the most, and filling out their reports on Fridays. My classroom theme is Frogs so the first set of cards follows a frog theme but I also created a set with no defining theme if you’d like that.
