This is the individual “Gold Coin Toss” activity from my Centers for the Month of March
Pack. Students toss gold coins into pots (or bins, or hula hoops- or whatever you have!) labeled with point values (these values can be differentiated based on your students!) and add their sum up for each round. Students get practice adding three numbers together at a time. *Warning- this game is addicting! Even for adults!*
This activity can easily be adapted to work with a variety of grade levels, and there are so many ways this activity can be used: With your whole class, in small groups with a parent volunteer, or it could even be placed at an independent center or be used as an early finisher activity! Either way, your students (or kids!) are sure to have a blast with this hands-on game that they won’t even know they’re learning!
Included in this pack is:
*A table sign for the activity
*Point values (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 75, and 100
*Recording sheets in color and black & white (you choose!)
*Teacher directions, a list of materials, and setup instructions for the game
