Product Description
What was it like to be a participant in the Gold Rush? Your students will take on the role of a young person who lives in San Francisco when the Gold Rush hits California.

Students will love using technology for this webquest journaling lesson!

Students will be directed to websites, and then asked to respond to a prompt for writing a journal entry. They will discuss what it was like in living in the epicenter of the Gold Rush, what it was like being in a mining camp, and the effects on California as a result of the Gold Rush. The lesson concludes with a letter to their future children that discusses how their life was changed by the event.

Thanks for stopping by!

I would love to hear from you when you get a moment!
