Want to keep your little ones engaged during math time? This product contains two different goldfish cracker math centers.
1) Graphing: Sort colored fish onto the sorting mat, and graph. Answer questions after analyzing data.
2) Decomposing Numbers/Addition: Practice addition by finding combinations of a given number. Students will divide their crackers between two fish bowls and add. For example, 10 fish could be divided to create the equation 6 + 4, 7 + 3, 8 + 2, etc.
** Copies of paper fish are provided for those last minute lesson plans or if you do not have goldfish crackers on hand.**
This unit also includes direction pages for students and teachers as well as recording pages.
Use these activities during a special end of year themed day or to enhance a nonfiction text about the ocean.
