Use these Goldilocks and the 3 Bears pencil control printables to practice pre-writing, fine motor, and tracing skills. These printables are also great activities to encourage talk about the Goldilocks fairy tale. These pre-writing printables have children trace straight lines, curved lines or a mixture of the two.
There are 11 printables in total (although they come in both B&W and color, so there are 22 pages in this resource). Children will help Goldilocks and the 3 Bears:
As children practice crucial pre-writing, tracing, fine motor, and pencil control skills, they can also, with adult support, talk about and consolidate their understanding of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. I used the color versions as laminates, when I did not need to keep the children's work. I used the B&W version when I needed to keep the printables for assessment/evidence purposes.
Best of all, this resource is part of my Dollar Deals. Your class will love this fun, practical way of exploring this well known tale. If you need another easy, low prep, hands on, sensory Goldilocks activity, please have a look at my Goldilocks and the 3 Bears Playdough Mats (with mats for both literacy and math stations/centers).
If you are doing a Fairy Tale unit, I also have Little Red Riding Hood activities (including playdough mats, pencil control sheets and FREE Letter tracing sheets (W, R, G) ) and 3 Little Pig activities (including playdough mats, pencil control sheets and FREE Letter tracing sheets) available as well.
