Product Description
In this activity students will learn the steps for writing the linear equation of a line when given two points. There is a graphic organizer for students to write the steps on with room to work an example step by step. There is also an example for determining if two lines are parallel or perpendicular. A warm-up is included to review writing the linear equation of a line with a given the slope and one point. The activity included continues with my other activity on the golf course, this time students are writing the equation of the line the golf ball will travel on the green to reach the hole. Three graphs are provided with four points on each graph. Students will complete the chart provided which includes identifying slope, y-intercept, the equation of the line, and which lines are perpendicular. An answer key is also provided for the warm-up and the golf activity.
