Gone Fishing! - Alphabet

Gone Fishing is the perfect game for your students to practice their uppercase and lowercase letter identification or as a vowel review!

The game can be played multiple ways!

• Uppercase
• Lowercase
• BOTH (uppercase and lowercase)
• Vowels
• Specific letters your students need help with

All fish come in color and black & white!

Prep is quick and easy!

• Just print, cut and laminate the letter fish you want to use.
• Slide a paperclip onto the fish.
• Put them into a fish bowl, basket, bucket or laid out face down on the floor.

Then Play!

Students take turns going fishing!

When they catch a fish they do one or more of the following:

1. Say the letter
2. Say the letter sound
3. Name something that starts with that letter
4. Complete one of the provided worksheet

Then they either place the fish back into play for a different child to catch, or keep the letter in a pile on the side.

Suggested Fishing Poles:

• Use a magnet wand!
• Use a dowel, yarn and a small magnet!

This game can be used throughout the whole school year, and changed up to practice new letters, while reviewing the already learned ones!
