Lets go fishing !
There are several ways to play:
Students can choose a card and try their fishing
skills to get the correct fish that answers
the card. Example: Student draws : What Color is a Bear?
Student will go fishing and try and find the fish
that looks like : the Brown Fish
But beware there are sharks. If the student catches
a shark they lose their turn. The student who catches
The most correct fish wins. This set includes:colors, simple addition, opposites and Pre-Dolch sight words.
An alternate version of this game: Not using the “fish game cards”. Students will catch & release the fish. They will record each time they catch the fish.
Laminate and cut out all fish and the cards.Attach a paper clip to the fish. To make the fishing pole: attach a string and magnet to a craft dowel.
(I would advise cutting out the fish and attaching the paperclip before you laminate.)
