Are your students getting more unmanageable as you get closer to vacation time? Try this simple behavior management system!
The procedure is simple:
~ Tell your students that you will looking for students displaying acts of good behavior.
~ Throughout the day/week, you are going to “catch” students being good. They will write their name on a piece of scrap paper and put it in the Good Behavior Name Game Jar. The more good behavior they display, the more times they’ll get to put their name in the jar. The more times they put their name in the jar, the more likely they are to win the drawing!
~ At the end of the class period / day / week (or whatever time period you’d like to use), draw a name out of the jar and give that student a reward. (Coupons for non-tangible rewards are included for your convenience, but you can of course use whatever type of reward you’d like.)
