This is a game I like to play with my kindergarteners at the start of the year to introduce a discussion about following the rules. I cut out each of the sentences and fold them up and put them in a bucket. Students come up and choose a paper, then I read it to the class and we decide together if it is a good choice or a bad choice. Then the student gets to tape it up under the "good choice" sign or the "bad choice" sign. I also have two little puppets, a boy and a girl that I've name "Bobby Break-the-Rules" and "Katie Keep-the-Rules". Bobby is angry looking and Katie is happy. We talk about why breaking the rules makes you sad and angry or why keeping the rules makes you happy. You could print off pictures of your own "Bobby and Katie" and display those instead of puppets.
