This book was made for K students who were studying the theme of Good Citizenship. This book requires the students to think about what a good citizen does at their home and school as well as for their community and country. The book begins each sentence (the students must trace the words) but requires the students to finish the sentance with their own ideas. My class created a class "word bank" where we generated possible answers for each page. I then typed those answers into a chart and printed copies for the students to use when they went to the center. This turned the book into a collaborative experience as a whole group as well as independent work during centers.
