SC.4.P.11.2 Identify common materials that conduct heat well or poorly.

This PowerPoint is intended for students at or around the 4th grade level. Students are introduced to the concept conductor which is a material that transfers heat energy readily. There are a number of slides that go through good material that conduct heat. There is 1 short journal activity, which would take 10-20 minutes to complete for students. As well as a group challenge to complete who can keep their ice cube from melting, two exit tickets are provided.
