Teaching children how to be a respectful audience is an important life lesson.
In order to support our students (especially our youngest students, our second language learners and our special education students), it is helpful to provide visual reminders of how our students can meet this expectation.
This product includes the following I am statements…
-I am facing the speaker.
-I am sitting quietly.
-I am keeping my hands and feet still.
-I am looking closely at the speaker.
-I am listening carefully to the speaker.
-I am thinking carefully about what the speaker is saying.
-I am waiting my turn to make a comment, ask a question or give
feedback to the speaker.
I have also included a cover page as well as a thumbs up/thumbs down page.
Hope you and your students find these reminders useful. Have a wonderful school year.
Please note: If interested in a different option, please visit my store. I’ve created the same visuals using circles, stripes and chevron borders. Also, your comments, feedback and/or suggestions are kindly appreciated.
