Directions For Use – Good Listening Diagram

Materials:
> 1 copy of the blank or filled in worksheet per student.
> Print 1 x A3 version to model responses with students (optional).
> Pencil or pen for each student.
> Coloring in pencils.

Activity Directions:
1. Engage students in a whole-class discussion about what good listening looks like and why it is important. Have students model the behaviors as they are discussed.

2. As you discuss what each body part should be doing to show good listening, have students fill in the correct section on their worksheet (or alternatively, provide students with the already completed version).

3. Have students color in the worksheet to make the person look like them.

4. Display the posters in the room or have students glue them somewhere and refer to the worksheets when students need reminding.
