There are 8 cards with images of different words for EACH position.

  • If the card has a sun on it, the child says, “Good morning, _______(and the name of the animal). The child can use play dough to pretend to feed the animal food.
  • If the card has a moon on it, the child says, “Good night, _________(and the name of the animal.) The child can use play dough to make a pretend blanket to tuck in the animal.
  • If an object is in the bed, encourage the child to act surprised and say, "Get out of the bed, please." Or, politely tell the object to "Go" to ___________( where it rightfully belongs)."
  • A beautiful visual that helps the child see how to say the "g" sound is included too!
