Positive thinking is a crucial skill for students to learn and implement so they can be successful learners. Often students will think negatively in school when they make a mistake or have difficulty learning. Students can begin learning the importance of positive thinking at an early age by recognizing and identify good vs bad thoughts. These materials can be used for students from kindergarten through 5th grade as it is a skill which is continuously developed through practice and repetitive teaching. Positive thinking is a lifelong skill that we are always trying to improve upon. Students need to realize that they can choose to think good thoughts. Also they need to know that they can change their bad (negative) thoughts to good (positive) ones.
