The attached is a two-page document that explains in-depth how to log in and utilize Google Apps for Education. Please be advised that your school needs to be registered with Google for most of the educational apps to be activated. This will require a gmail address with a domain specific to your school district (not just a personal gmail account).
Items that need to be edited for your specific domain are highlighted in blue for easy identification.
Typically, in addition to using this as a reference, I actually use this as a teaching tool at the beginning of the year with my class. I make a checklist out of the functions and have students complete each one, sending me the "evidence" when done. Students can work at their own pace, but they need to successfully log in, send me an email, create a document and share it with me, and sign in to Google classroom.
After initial instruction, I find that students rarely need to ask me for additional tech support!
