Looking for engaging fiction reading passages and comprehension checks for your students to read digitally while using Google Slides? This digital, paperless resource includes 10 fiction reading comprehension passages at the guided reading level G. The reading passages create a high level of engagement for your first-grade readers and are perfect for their reading level. A level G is the equivalent of a first-grade reading level.

This resource was created in Google Slides. Each short story includes a cover page, the story, and 2 pages of comprehension questions. The comprehension questions are a mix of short answer and multiple choice. In the Google folder, you will find all ten stories with the comprehension questions. This resource also includes a running record template for each reading passage. The running records are in a separate folder than the reading passages.
