Description

Distance Learning & Google Classroom Notes: This lesson includes a Google Docs link to be shared with students in Google Classroom. Students will EDIT a Table already in the Google Doc. This lesson also includes PDF directions for formatting the Table. Adapted for Distance Learning, instead of students "picking" a toy card, share the PDF Toy List with students and they can look through and choose a toy.

The History of a Toy Poster is for students familiar with basic formatting (Text and Clipart) and are ready for a few new challenges. Students will use Internet Research Skills to create a poster in Google Docs about a toy that has been around for decades. Most of the toys are non-electronic toys (a few toys use electricity) but most are unplugged toys that have been popular toys for at least 50 years and are still popular today. Google Drive lesson includes a Table for students to format by researching the toy they “pick”. Includes 32 toys for students to pick from. Also includes an Editable toy list for you to add other toys. Many of the toys are not gender specific but a few are gender specific to incorporate the interest of all students.

Technology Standards:
