Are your students learning how to use Google Docs and G-Suite?
This fun and engaging scavenger hunt will introduce them to different useful features of Google Docs. They will get a hands-on technology lesson, while also completing written exercises, and having a blast doing it all!
A rubric to grade their finished product is also included!
In this scavenger hunt, students create an interactive doc, learning the following features:
-Create a new doc
-Share the doc
-Add a title
-Insert a picture and resize it
-Change font color and style
-Use the explore tool in Docs to do research
-Use the dictionary tool in Docs (to look up funny words)
-Insert a footnote
-Insert a table and change its properties
-Insert a pie chart
-Use spell check
I used this with my class (grades 3-5) and they were thoroughly engaged and they learned how to use Docs and Drive; I also shared it with the ed tech director at my school and she wants to use it in a PD for staff that are not familiar with Docs, so this is good for all ages!
*If you're interested to see what one of the finished documents looks like, please leave a question with your e-mail and I can send you one of the documents my students made
**Product downloads as a PDF, with link to access the Google Doc.
