PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Google Earth is a fantastic tool for the classroom, but where to start?? Right here!

This product provides a great introduction to Google Earth and ties directly into a geography unit of study. After learning some basic navigation points, students will search for four geographic features of the US: The Grand Canyon, Death Valley, The Great Plains, and Glacier National Park. Students will compare & contrast the places, search for physical features, and get a glimpse inside these amazing places.

Included in this product:
1. Tips for Using Google Earth
2. Exploration guide for 4 US Geographic Features
3. Extension worksheet for student to use to explore any geographic feature.

My students have worked in partners to complete this activity, but it would also be a great enrichment opportunity for those students who need a little something extra!
