Grandpa Fred is taking you and your best friend to New York City!

As they plan their trip using Google Maps, your students will sharpen their map reading skills as well as learning to find specific information on the internet. It also reinforces math skills as they will need to calculate gas, hotel, meals, and tourist costs. They even have to figure the cost of three tickets to “Hamilton” and where their seats would be!


A link to a short video on how to use Google Maps is embedded on the first page of the student answer sheet so even the novice can navigate Google Maps proficiently!
