We don't always have the time, budget, or energy to take our students on the amazing trips we wish we could... But thanks to the awesomeness that is technology, we can still help them explore the beauty and culture of foreign cities. With this editable three-part mini-project, your students will use Google Maps Street View to tour a Spanish-speaking city (and even see inside some buildings!) while picking up on cultural cues and comparisons.
You can use this editable project to assess your students in a non-obtrusive manner over:
- places vocabulary
- ir + a + location
- ir + a + infinitive
- cultural observations
Part 1 - City scavenger hunt
Part 2 - Creating an itinerary with simple sentences (meant to build on Part 1)
Part 3 - Comparisons and reflection
I hope you and your students enjoy this interactive project as much as me and mine do!
