Cornell Notes are a great way for students to take and interact with their notes. They are meant to be done in stages in order to encourage students to continue to revisit and interact with the new material as much as possible.
Stage 1: Students complete notes
Stage 2: Students create questions in question column that are answered in the notes.
Stage 3: Revise and expand on notes
Stage 4: Complete summary of learning
All stages can be done at different times on different days.
