UPDATED AUGUST 30, 2015!
In this freebie, you'll get SEVEN roll and cover games that can be used by First Graders! You will be able to differentiate to meet your students' needs.
NOTE: This game does have FIRST GRADE ROCKS Clip Art because I made it for my kiddos and decided to post for free. However, if you can get "past" the First Grade clip art, it's cute for K students too!
One is Fun!: Roll one die and cover the number.
Two? Can Do!: Roll two dice, add, and cover.
Whee! It’s Three! Have student roll and add dots of three dice. Write sum in the circle and write the problem on the line. A challenge!
Partner Pair: Have students work in pairs. Each rolls dice (2, 3, or 4) and fills in the number rolled. Then, partners switch papers to play the game. The partner now has to roll/add and match to color in the number.
Twice is Nice: Roll one die and double it. Cover answer.
+1? What Fun!: Roll one die and add 1 to it. Cover.
+10? Sure Can!: Roll one die. Add 10 to it. Cover.
I like the kids to color in the circles and I send home the sheets but you can use chips or Bingo markers, too. I've also laminated for centers.
ONLY AVAILABLE IN COLOR.
