Product Description
This unit introduces students to Gothic fiction and contains a variety of activities and assessments. Students will work individually and with others to learn about Gothic fiction, analyze literary elements, analyze images, compare texts, conduct research, explore a sub-genre (southern Gothic), and produce their own text (essay/review/article/story) at the end of the unit.
This unit will take approximately 3 weeks to complete, but can easily be shortened depending on the amount of time available.
