Product Description

This is a wonderful interactive game which engages students while reinforcing Civics standards and vocabulary.

Florida Standard: SS.7.C.3.14 – Differentiate between local, state, and federal governments’ obligations and services.

Vocabulary: Enumerated Powers, Reserved Powers, Concurrent Powers, Local Government Powers

Students play a card game based on "go fish" matching the different powers to examples of local, state, and federal governments' obligations and services. This game is perfect for centers, or for an anchor activity and will improve your students' test scores in no time. It is so much fun students will ask to play it for weeks after you introduce it!

I have used this for four years teaching Civics, every year I see huge improvement in students understanding of state standards after they played this game.
