Product Description
The School Year is coming to an end. What can our First Graders Do?!!
This FREE checklist can help identify the minimum can-do skills your first grader has mastered in Mathematics and Language.

This product can be used by teachers or parents to track the concepts to be mastered before advancing to the next grade level. Print the two sheets (backed) and make copies for each student. Once completed, the checklist can be used as part of parent conferences or to hand-over to the next grade level teacher to be used for review lesson planning.

Teachers can use this at the beginning of Grade 1 to prepare a pretest and at the end of the year to prepare a post-test assessment. The pretest results can guide the teacher’s lesson plans going forward (areas to focus/or spend more time on and areas to reinforce). The post-test results alongside the checklist can be used to show the student’s successes and areas of need. It is also a good way for teachers to show accountability in what has been taught.

This Freebie includes:
• Language Can-Do Skills Checklist
• Mathematics Can-Do Skills Checklist
