I have a Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language and have been in the language field since 1994. With my knowledge of second language acquisition and the WIDA frameworks, I have created new ESL progress reports for K-12 based on the expected language skills in the four domains (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) for each proficiency level. These reports will also help mainstream teachers understand the progress students are making in language. I have been frustrated with previous reports and knew exactly what I wanted these to look like. I am finally happy with what I put together.
