# Grade 1 French Immersion Representing Numbers 1-100

Product Description
This package has been created to help students gain number sense from 1-100 on a daily basis. We have used a similar activity as a whole class during Calendar Time, but have felt it was lacking in student participation. This package allows for each student to participate in daily practice.

Each page is the same, except for the number represented. This allows for student growth from dependence to independence. It can be completed as a whole class, in groups, partners or individually. The pages can also be used as a quick and easy assessment of your students’ number sense.

This package is linked to the following Essential Learnings (Apprentissage critique) from the Renewed Saskatchewan Grade 1 French Immersion Curriculum:

Each page asks the students to represent the number of the day in the following ways:

using a 10 frame
drawing objects to represent the number (1-10)
finding 1 more, 2 more, 1 less and 2 less
deciding if the number is even or odd
drawing tens and ones
creating 2 subtraction equations
writing the number
writing the number word (1-20)
