This Mindful Math First Grade Measurement and Time unit is a comprehensive math curriculum that was designed to be teacher and student-friendly and includes 11 lessons to teach the concepts related to measurement (comparing and measuring with non-standard units) and measuring time to the hour and half hour.
Lessons on comparing and ordering length, height, and width, measuring with non-standard units, distance, area, capacity, weight are included for measurement. Lessons on the concept of time, the parts of the clock, the calendar, time to the hour, and time to the half-hour are included for time.

Mindful MATH lesson plans provide teachers with a detailed plan to follow from start to finish. Instructions for whole group math lessons, individual math practice, and follow up activities are given. Also included are lesson goals, vocabulary, questions to ask, material list, and book suggestions to match concepts.

The curriculum includes many practice pages with different levels of difficulty, as well as a variety of activities, games, and centers.
