Product Description

Directions:

  • This game is called "Macher la Moustique“ – hit the mosquito.
  • All you need is two flyswatters. Divide your class in half and have them take turns at the front as you go through slides. As the slides do not have a set question, you are able to change it up by choosing your own question each time. For example, slide 1, you say any of the four words of choice in French (les cheveux, le visage, le nez, or les dents). And if you want to play game again, you can switch up the words so they don't always know what the question is. Once you said your vocabulary word, students must choose the right answer with the flyswatter.
  • Students who aren't up at front can still participate. They can help their team get the right answer, but not by giving them the answer. They must use the French numbers to direct their teammate to correct answer (un, deux, trois, quatre).
  • Alternate Way to Play Game: You can also use by not using flyswatters and assign each part of the slideshow to a part of room. (1 is front of classroom, 2 is the back of classroom, 3 is the right side of classroom by lockers or windows (depending your classroom set up), 4 is to the left of the room by the door, etc). Go through the slides and said the vocabulary word for the question. All students participate by walking to the side of the room that matches the correct answer.
