The Grade 10 “Food Preparation Skills” activity packet addresses the following ONTARIO curriculum expectations:
Describe common accidents that can occur in the kitchen;
Demonstrate an understanding of safe practices within the food-preparation area;
Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate emergency responses to common accidents associated with food preparation;
Describe the causes and symptoms of foodborne illnesses and technique for preventing them.
