A problem most any math teacher faces is that of unfamiliarity on the part of students with analog clocks, fractional times and, consequently, with elapsed time. I certainly faced that with my secondary students and determined to add problems--and a full unit--on these topics in my pre-Algebra B class.
The problems included here (5 sets of them: sets of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 problems in each of 16 skills) are all of the ones I use plus some (like military time) that I don't actively use. They are in grade-domain-cluster-standard order and have proved to be very useful.
By the 5th grade, they can be downright challenging.
NOTE: If you would like the full problem set for a particular grade or standard, please indicate that.
[The problems in All WORKSHEETS and PREVIEWS are printed in difficulty (1 [easy], 2 [not so easy], 3 [proficiency] up to 4 [mastery]) order within a skill. The actual difficulty level appears slightly to the left of the DK box of each problem in a very small font. Also, instructional references appear on worksheets but are optional on quizzes.]
FEEDBACK ON THE PREVIEW WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!! THANK YOU in advance.
