This unit is based on the outcomes for the Saskatchewan Health Curriculum, but will meet the outcome needs of Grade 2 Health dealing with risks - identifying them, assessing them, taking steps to avoid or reduce them and the consequences. There are seven lesson plans that include children's literature suggestions and activity suggestions for students. There is also a checklist of I Can Statements for this unit.
