Ontario Math Curriculum for a Grade 2/3 Split
I have taken both the Grade 2 and Grade 3 math curriculum and compared them for each of the five strands:
Patterning and Algebra
Geometry and Spatial Sense
I have placed both curriculums side by side for ease of reference. I have aligned similar outcomes and highlighted in red where there are differences. I keep these in my daybook with my long range plans so I can reference what has been taught, what needs to be taught and where I can align both grades to develop lessons that apply to all students.
