When I taught 4 grade in a co-teaching classroom I used these cards with my special education students to help them remember important information for independent work and assessments. The cards provided them with something to fall back on when they needed just a little bit of help.
Included are 45 no-frill cards on a range of 3rd-6th grade math topics including:
* math vocabulary
* place value
* number words
When I used them I would print them on vellum, cut them into cards and punch a hole in the top left corner of each card and put them on a ring. That way students could take their ring home, to their seats, resource room, etc. You could also give the students only the card(s) they need each day. I also heard of a teacher take them and print them as is to put in a binder kids could leaf through.
