Mental Math is a skill well worth having and it is very apparent in the later grades who has mental mastery of numbers and who does not.
These problems are meant to be used for either quick drills, competition or problem-of-the-day exercises.
The 4 worksheets (with 20, 15, 10 and 6 problems per each of the 3 skills) are meant to accommodate each and every need.
THERE IS NO BETTER WAY TO PREDICT MATHEMATICAL SUCCESS IN LATER YEARS THAN IN ENCOURAGING AND FOSTERING MENTAL MATH MASTERY IN THE EARLIER YEARS.
Check out the PREVIEW as it pretty much gives you an idea of the entire package.
[The problems in All WORKSHEETS and PREVIEWS are printed in difficulty (1 [easy], 2 [not so easy], 3 [proficiency] up to 4 [mastery]) order within a skill. The actual difficulty level appears slightly to the left of the DK box of each problem in a very small font. Also, instructional references appear on worksheets but are optional on quizzes.]
