These 4 lessons implement the ideas of the size of the unit compared to the size of the whole.
Meaning, when the wholes are the same, the more units you have the smaller they get.
As well as, if the units are the same size, the more units you have the larger the whole will become.
This will ultimately end with students identifying shaded fractional parts with different representations of the whole.
**PLEASE NOTE** Lesson 12 is set up much differently than shown in the module. I did not have the time (nor the patience) to cut out all of the materials. So I decided to use 2 sets of each shape per group and have the students use them as tracers to build their whole on a piece of poster paper. Then we hung the posters around the room for a museum walk. All steps are explicitly given within the slide show.
