How to Use KIM Vocabulary:
I am constantly telling my students that they need to make connections with the important information presented in class. I tell them they need to “glue” these things into their mind with a variety of different strategies. This is just one of the many strategies used in my classroom. This resource is used as a connection point for my students each week. They are asked to either draw and label a picture or write a sentence to connect to each vocabulary word. At the start of the year the students are allowed to use a picture for all of the words. The expectations grow each grading period with the goal of eventually using long, detailed sentences for each of the vocabulary words.
