The informational text is followed by a series of multiple choice questions aligned with various strands of the CCSS Grade 4 English Language Arts Standards for Reading.
Those strands are:

RI.4.2 Determine the main idea of a text and explain how it is supported by key details; summarize the text.
RF.4.4 Read with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension.
