Students will read a short story titled The Little Shepherd Boy. A short excerpt follows:
"Once upon a time, there was a little shepherd boy who was famed far and wide for the wise answers he gave to all questions. When the King of the country heard of the boy, he did not believe what was said about him, so he ordered the boy to come to court. When the boy arrived, the King said to him, 'If you can answer three questions, I will bring you up as my own child, and you will live here with me in my palace.'"
