Students will read two texts about family chores -- one an informational text and the other a fictional story. The first is an informational text about how to make a chore chart so that family members know which chores they are supposed to do on which days. The second text is a story about how a family decides to make a chore chart so as to avoid confusion and bickering.
The passages are followed by a series of multiple choice questions aligned with various strands of the CCSS Grade 4 English Language Arts Standards for Reading.
