This activity helps support one of the MAJOR standards cluster for FOURTH grade of understanding DECIMAL notation for fractions, and COMPARE decimal fractions to HUNDREDTHS. In this activity, students are asked to determine if a decimal comparison is true or false. They then sort the cards on the True or False sorting mats and record their comparisons on the Recording Sheet.

Directions to the Teacher: Print and cut out cards for students. You may choose to laminate for future use. Make copies of the Recording Sheet for students. This is a great activity for a math center, math workstation, or independent practice.
