Description

This product works great for distance learning, or in a classroom. Engage your students with a fun math review game on Google Slides. Students will simply click and drag the correct answer to match the question. These are great for the winter season. Students will practice comparing fractions, adding fractions, and subtracting fractions. All questions are based on 4th grade Common Core standards.

This activity is self-grading, because students will create a picture, if completed correctly. Don't worry about copies, wasting printer ink, grading work, or students doing busy work with this meaningful Google Slides review exercise.

Compare two fractions with different numerators and different denominators, e.g., by creating common denominators or numerators, or by comparing to a benchmark fraction such as 1/2. Recognize that comparisons are valid only when the two fractions refer to the same whole. Record the results of comparisons with symbols >, =, or <, and justify the conclusions, e.g., by using a visual fraction model.
Understand addition and subtraction of fractions as joining and separating parts referring to the same whole.
Add and subtract mixed numbers with like denominators, e.g., by replacing each mixed number with an equivalent fraction, and/or by using properties of operations and the relationship between addition and subtraction.
