What's included

• Master unit plan (.docx) — ONE document with every day's lesson plan inside, plus a unit cover (big picture, prerequisites, end-of-unit goals, concrete resources, assessment notes) and a scope-and-sequence table. Read the whole unit at one sitting before you teach Day 1.
• 15 individual teacher lesson plans (.docx) — same per-day plans, also delivered as separate files so you can print just the day you need
• 15 projectable slide decks (.pptx) — one per daily lesson
• 15 student worksheets (.docx) — one per daily lesson, with full answer keys
• 15 differentiated exit quizzes (.docx) — three tiers per day (Support / Core / Stretch, 9 questions total), with answer keys — quick formative assessment to check each day's LO
• Recipe-graded across every day — varied question types, real-world contexts, differentiated three-tier practice

Daily learning objectives

• Day 1: Factor pairs — I can identify all the factor pairs of a number.
• Day 2: Use factor pairs — I can use factor pairs to solve multiplication problems.
• Day 3: Multiply by 10 — I can multiply any whole number by 10.
• Day 4: Multiply by 100 — I can multiply any whole number by 100.
• Day 5: Divide by 10 — I can divide any whole number by 10 (when the answer is a whole number).
• Day 6: Divide by 100 — I can divide any multiple of 100 by 100.
• Day 7: Related multiplication and division facts — I can use a known × or ÷ fact to derive related facts using place value.
• Day 8: Informal written multiplication (partitioning) — I can multiply a 2-digit number by a 1-digit using partitioning.
• Day 9: Multiply 2-digit by 1-digit (column method) — I can multiply a 2-digit number by a 1-digit using formal column multiplication.
• Day 10: Multiply 3-digit by 1-digit (column method) — I can multiply a 3-digit number by a 1-digit using formal column multiplication.
• Day 11: Divide 2-digit by 1-digit (no exchange) — I can divide a 2-digit number by a 1-digit using short division when no exchange is needed.
• Day 12: Divide 2-digit by 1-digit (with exchange) — I can divide a 2-digit number by a 1-digit using short division, with exchange.
• Day 13: Divide 3-digit by 1-digit — I can divide a 3-digit number by a 1-digit using short division.
• Day 14: Correspondence problems — I can solve correspondence (m × n) problems using known facts.
• Day 15: End-of-unit assessment and reflection — I can apply everything I have learned about written multiplication and division.

Why this is a unit, not a worksheet pack

• Sequenced — the lessons build on each other from foundation through assessment
• Spiral retrieval — every day starts with retrieval of prior learning
• Variety baked in — no flat compute-only lessons; every day has reasoning, worded problems, spot-the-mistake, cloze, multi-part scaffolds
• Premium quality at a unit price — 15 lessons for less than the cost of buying them all individually

Format

• Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) — 16:9 widescreen
• Microsoft Word (.docx) — A4 / US Letter friendly
• US spelling and CCSS alignment
• Verdana / Calibri only — renders cleanly on any school PC

Part of the full Grade 4 Math curriculum.
