I searched for a CCSS Curriculum Plan/Framework and couldn't find one. This is the one I created for my fifth grade team. I decided not to charge for it because it is just a starting point for you, the teacher, and isn't the typical "no prep" kind of product that I put out. I did want others who need a starting point to have a reference.
There are 2 versions of the year-long plan included. The "short version" is an overview of what skills I plan to teach with ideas of anchor texts/read alouds to use. Some of the texts are from our textbook, others are novels, and others are tradebooks.
The "long version" is a detailed version of what skill sheets I plan to use, writing prompts, reading responses, etc. It is color-coded by theme.
I also included a modified CAFE menu for upper grades that I found online years ago. I included it since I reference it in the long version.
I plan to implement the intermediate grades version of Daily 5, but it's actually Daily 3+Me. The schedule I plan to use is at the bottom of the long version. Students will go to 2 stations a day.
